　　The LTM®4643 is a quad DC/DC step-down μModule(power module) regulator with 3A per output. Outputs canbe paralleled in an array for up to 12A capability. Includedin the package are the switching controllers, power FETs,inductors and support components. Operating over aninput voltage range of 4V to 20V or 2.375V to 20V withan external bias supply, the LTM4643 supports an　outputvoltage range of 0.6V to 3.3V each set by a single externalresistor. Its high efficiency design delivers 3A continuousoutput current per channel. Only bulk input and outputcapacitors are needed.

　　Fault protection features include overvoltage, overcurrentand overtemperature protection. The LTM4643 is offeredin a 9mm .15mm .1.82mm LGA package with RoHScompliant terminal finish.

　　Quad DC/DC μModule Regulator with Configurable 3A Output Array Demonstration circuit 2453A features the LTM®4643μModule® regulator, a high performance high efficiency4 output step-down regulator. The LTM4643EV has anoperating input voltage range of 4V to 20V and is ableto provide up to 3A out output current from each of itsphases. Each output’s voltage is programmable from 0.6Vto 3.3V.

　　The LTM4643EV is a complete DC/DC point of loadregulator in a thermally enhanced 15mm .9mm .1.82mmLGA package requiring only a few input and output capacitors.Output voltage tracking is available through the TRACK/SS pin for supply rail sequencing. External clocksynchronization is also available through the CLKIN pin.

　　The CLKOUT pin provides for synchronization of additionalmodules’ phases. The LTM4643 data sheet must be readin conjunction with this demo manual for working on ormodifying demo circuit 2453A.
