  The CC2541 is a power-optimized true system-on-chip (SoC) solution for both Bluetooth low energy and proprietary 2.4-GHz applications. It enables robust network nodes to be built with low total bill-of-material costs. The CC2541 combines the excellent performance of a leading RF transceiver with an industry-standard enhanced 8051 MCU, in-system programmable flash memory, 8-KB RAM, and many other powerful supporting features and peripherals.

  The CC2541 is highly suited for systems where ultralow power consumption is required. This is specified by various operating modes. Short transition times between operating modes further enable low power consumption. The CC2541 is pin-compatible with the CC2540 in the 6-mm × 6-mm QFN40 package, if the USB is not used on the CC2540 and the I2C/extra I/O is not used on the CC2541. Compared to the CC2540, the CC2541 provides lower RF current consumption. The CC2541 does not have the USB interface of the CC2540, and provides lower maximum output power in TX mode. The CC2541 also adds a HW I2C interface. The CC2541 is pin-compatible with the CC2533 RF4CE-optimized IEEE 802.15.4 SoC.

  The CC2541 comes in two different versions: CC2541F128/F256, with 128 KB and 256 KB of flash memory, respectively.

  CC2541低功耗蓝牙智能遥控板

  The CC2541 Bluetooth Smart Remote Control Kit provides a reference platform for Bluetooth low energy remote control application development. It is based on the TI’s industry leading CC2541 Bluetooth low energy device and contains the hardware and tools required for evaluating, developing, testing, and debugging remote control applications.

  The kit includes an advanced programmable remote control capable of 6-axis motion sensing (3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope), a USB dongle and a debugger.

  The advanced remote and USB dongle come pre-programmed with their respective HID-over-GATT profile roles and HID report service, including keyboard, consumer control keys and mouse reports. The sample applications are included in the Bluetooth low energy software stack.

  The advanced remote control can connect directly to a Bluetooth® Smart Ready device supporting HID-over-GATT, e.g. Windows 8. The USB dongle can be used as a bridge to interface to devices without Bluetooth® Smart Ready support, e.g. Windows 7.

  The CC2541 Advanced Remote Control is designed to act as a HID Peripheral Device (BLE Slave),operating according to the specifications laid out in the HID over GATT profile [5]. It comes pre-assembled in plastic casing with rubber buttons, battery enclosure and a hole to access the programming header.

  The Advanced Remote Control operates on three 1.5V alkaline AAA (LR03) batteries. Available peripheral hardware on the board includes a buzzer, gyroscope, accelerometer and shift registers for key scanning.

  The PCB design also includes a 3.3V LDO (TPS78330) to lower the voltage from a maximum 4.5 Volt to 3.3 Volt for use by the integrated circuits.

  The CC2540 USB Dongle can be used to emulate any Bluetooth low energy behavior but is usually acting as a Central Device (BLE Master) and HID Host. In this kit it comes pre-loaded with firmware that acts in a Central role and as a HID Service client towards the Advanced Remote Control and sends received input data to emulated Human Interface Devices (USB HID) on a connected Windows, Linux or OSX computer.

  The CC Debugger is used to flash the software onto both the USB Dongle as well as the Advanced Remote Control. It can also be used for debugging software using IAR Embedded Workbench.The RF Boards in this kit are FCC and IC certified and tested to comply with ETSI/R&TTE over temperature from 0 to +35°C.
